Do i need to buy a domain address?
You do need to have a domain address for any website. This is what people type into the Internet to get to your page. e.g. www.yorkdesignshop.com
If you already have one that is fine but if you need to purchase one I will do this for you.
Do I need to buy Hosting for my website?
You do need to have a host for any website. This is where your website information is stored.
If you already have one that is fine, I can upload the finished website to your hosting account.
If you do not have a host, don't panic I can host your website for you.
All my websites come with one year free hosting.
How long does it take to build?
Small simple 3-4 page website take between 1-2 weeks.
High content or complex websites with 5 - 7 pages will take 3-4 weeks.
Having all your images and content for the website ready will speed up the whole process.
Can i get an email to match my website?
If I am hosting your website then YES. If you already have a host then you will be able to add an email for your website with them. Do please note that some online servers do not always allow emails to be sent that do not match the domain name.
The design shop's hosting will allow any email address as a contact for you on your website.
What do i need to give you to make my website?
You wont need to do much at all. All I need is the information that you would like to be on your website in a digital text format and all the images / pictures you would like to see on your site. This includes a digital copy of your logo.
If you do not have a logo but would like one then look no further, I can do that too. CLICK HERE to view my logo designs. There will be an extra charge for a logo design.
Do you optimise websites for search engines?
YES, I can optimise websites to be visible when searching for them. I create; descriptions, titles, suffix, appendix, favicons and key words for all the different pages so that you can get as much notice as possible. This includes links to Google analytics so you can track who is coming to your site, from where, what age group and how long they are spending looking at different pages.

Can i edit my own website once it is online?
YES, you can!
After your website is completed I will send you login details to access a live website editor to change any text and images on your website. It is very easy and user friendly.
